Fr. Matthew Sanka, SCA - Mission Promoter From Tanzania. I was ordained to priesthood in 2002. I moved to Ireland in October 2007 to raise funds for the missions. My work involves Pallottine promotion through preaching, organizing fundraising activities, seeking donor funding for our seminarians, church gate collections, publishing newsletters, Pallottine calendar and brochures.

Bridget Fogarty - Mission Secretary
A native of Corofin, Co.Clare. Living in Thurles for the past 39 years. Married to P.J. who is on the road collecting Pallottine Mission boxes, we have 5 children. I have worked as Mission secretary for the past 6 years. I have been over to Tanzania on two occasions and it was a great experience and it makes you appreciate what you have. The people are very friendly and would give anything even though they don’t have much. My work in the office is to generate funds for the missions through Church gate collections, organising different fund raising events (concerts, Coffee mornings, and card games), writing to our associates around the country. I would love to hear from you if you have any ideas on how to help the Pallottines.
THEN Pallottines first went to Africa in 1941. The Irish Pallottines have helped to develop and spread the gospel message through different works during that time. In over 70 years of missionary work in East Africa, Pallottines have helped to build 25 Churches, 56 primary schools and 3 vocational Colleges, educated over 450,000 children, facilitated the establishment of 2 hospitals and considerable number of dispensaries and continue to support many nutritional, agricultural and self-help programmes bringing smiles of hope to communities of East Africa, many people have access to water, they have learnt new skills and have passed these gifts on to the next generation. (the Pallottines have made a lot of peoples’ lives better). Most Pallottines have touched people’s hearts and lives with the gospel message, many young African men have come forward and have been ordained to the priesthood. Our mission has grown and expanded to a new level. The Church in Africa has reached new heights and the Pallottines have played a major part in that.
NOW Much done, still a lot more to do. This requires your support and kindness. We still rely on your generosity to continue our work reach and reach our targets.
